Design, test, and implement processes and operating systems for aortic stent grafts manufacturing.• Work with Research and Development to develop and transfer new designs to manufacturing.• Develop fixtures, gigs, and gauges to support manufacturing using SolidWorks. Create tool drawings and specifications. • Lead the design transfer phase including product development, validation planning, design for manufacturability and assembly, Design of Experiments, process capability analysis, etc• Conduct risk analysis including DFMEA, PFMEA and create/maintain necessary documentation.• Manage processes development to completion. Work closely with tool suppliers during process development phase.• Write Manufacturing Instructions & Design History Records.• Train manufacturing personnel on new processes.
