ABOUT ALEJANDRO RODRÍGUEZ-PARDO MONTBLANCH
I am leading work on the quantum-safe migration at HSBC. Focus is on cybersecurity against future attacks by quantum computers, complemented by quantum cryptography and other projects. I am working on post-quantum cryptography and how to build a long-standing, resilient strategy that will combine the best of several worlds, including quantum communications and quantum networking. Cambridge PhD (Marie-Curie scholarship), scholar visit in Harvard, postdoc in Delft on the Quantum Internet. I have won a few scholarships and prizes throughout my career. Deep technical understanding of quantum technologies (including quantum computing, quantum communications and networking, and sensing), as well as of the business side of things.I am quite curious; aside from quantum, I have knowledge and experience (in an academic setting) on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and classical computational methods (my second master\'s). One day I will finish my BSc on Economics (less than an academic year\'s worth of lectures, but finding time is hard!).Oh, and I really like Lego. If you can\'t reach me it might be because I am at the Lego store in London.
