I am a seasoned technology professional and entrepreneur with over three decades of experience across various sectors like FinTech, Telecommunications, Food & Beverage, Energy, Government, and Aviation. I\'ve contributed my expertise to global giants like Samsung and have consulted for industry leaders such as BP, ExxonMobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Genencor, Danisco, BAT, AGA, and SAP.At Samsung, I honed my skills in cryptography and cybersecurity while working on the Samsung Knox platform. I was instrumental in implementing tokenization and cryptogram solutions to combat fraud in payment systems, utilizing my knowledge in NFC and MST technologies (LoopPay patent).My educational background in Electronic Engineering and Systems Engineering has equipped me to specialize in integrating large-scale industrial systems and ERP solutions, focusing on materials, reliability, and asset management. My work extends to systems integration, control engineering, and ERP implementation, which has earned me international recognition and positions on notable committees like ISA and ISO.I am passionate about Open Source Technologies, where I serve both as an educator and evangelist. I hold multiple certifications from the Institute for Superior Studies and Technological Research (ISEIT) in Venezuela, where I also taught as a professor.In the earlier part of my career, I was a partner at Grupo MPR, an IBM premium VAR specializing in EAM/ITSM solutions in Latin America. I directed business development in Venezuela and Colombia, managing key accounts including Empresas Polar, BP, ExxonMobil, Chevron, and Alpina.
