THE JOURNEY SO FARCurrently, I am striving towards an associate/specialist position that encapsulates the distinct skills I have learned within the last year through various marketing initiatives in events and operations. I have invested numerous hours identifying ways to streamline processes for webinars and local events, provided data hygiene within international databases, and supported multiple corporate conferences with planning, communication, and execution. My passion for events and technology goes hand-in-hand with my keen sense of operational management and love for being resourceful.HOW THE JOURNEY BEGANWhile at San Jose State University (SJSU) pursuing a degree in Marketing, I experienced first-hand the ideologies of implementing planning in events, how to accommodate different associations, and how to successfully manage them. From being a resource as a Business Resident Advisor and lead representative as the Interfraternity Council President, I have gained knowledge that correlates with events and infrastructure.An opportunity I am most grateful for was making an impact within SJSU with my involvement as the first Director of Spartans\' Best Dance Crew (SBDC). The philanthropic event brought the community together and its efforts amassed since its founding four years ago for cleft and palate surgeries for children through Smile Train.
