ABOUT ALEJANDRO A BECERRA C

I’m a seasoned Chemical Process Engineer with over 20 years of dedicated experience in process and operation engineering, as well as project management within the Oil & Gas industry. Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in analyzing, monitoring, and measuring operational processes and key performance indicators. My journey has been marked by a consistent track record of optimizing units, enhancing efficiency, controlling costs, improving safety outcomes, evaluating equipment performance, boosting productivity, and ensuring top-notch product quality. My expertise spans a wide array of deep conversion processes, including DCU and Flexicoker processes, Amine treatment with MEA, DEA, and FLEXSORB; Hydrotreatment for VGO, diesel, and naphtha. I have also mastered Merichem and MEROX processes for light coker naphtha and C4 streams, as well as coke handling system units, Hydrogen and Steam systems, SMRs, and Water Treatment using Ultra Filtration and Reverse Osmosis Technologies. My solid knowledge of oil and gas refining and process integrations has been instrumental in planning major maintenance and turnarounds, as well as navigating the FEEL and FEED stages for projects of all sizes. In addition to my core expertise, I have expanded my skill set through roles in the service sector in Canada. Here, I have designed and provided pre-commissioning and commissioning services, including Chemical Cleaning, Air Blows, Nitrogen Blows, and Steam Blows. These experiences have enriched my capabilities in the Up-Stream and Mid-Stream sectors, where I have designed and executed procedures for decontamination, Nitrogen purges, and degassing for Well pads, Oil Production Facilities, Upgraders, Gas Plants, and other industrial processes.
