Design with Climate Change is an upper-level design studio course. The course focuses on integrated design strategies that address the ecological aspects of a location, water and energy conservation, carbon reduction, resiliency, and environmental impact in the context of climate change. Students will select a project type from a predefined list of Miami sites and apply the guiding design principles to their projects. The course heavily utilizes simulation tools, live computer design walk-throughs, and virtual reality headsets for interactive reviews and presentations.
