ABOUT ALEJANDRO BERTINELLI SALAMERO

I am a highly motivated individual with a passion for continuously learning, improving my skillset and using that knowledge for the benefit of communities around me. I have been working as a Full-Stack Software Developer since August 2024, after a successful 12-month Software Development Placement (20••••23), working with the.NET / C# stack (both Blazor and MVC, plus Web APIs) and various other technologies such as Azure DevOps or LaunchDarkly. However, outside of my role, I have also explored these and other technologies in more depth with projects such as a modern-technology reconstruction of a Flash game (.NET, MongoDB, Unity) or a sustainable journey planner (.NET, MongoDB, Docker).I graduated from the University of Leeds with a Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence in July 2024. My final year project was in the medical signal analysis area, researching data processing techniques and Machine Learning algorithms to detect atrial fibrillation from single-lead electrocardiograms (ECG) recordings, achieving a maximum F1-score of 0.78 in the PhysioNet Computing in Cardiology 2017 dataset.Before starting my degree, I participated in the Google Code-in 2018 and 2019 challenges -contributing to open source repositories- and also worked on small programming projects, some of which can be found on my portfolio.
