Hola y bienvenidos! I am a passionate and enigmatic educator who strives to help students achieve their academic and professional goals. My interests include academic counseling and advising, dual enrollment, career education, student support programs, education abroad, international student advising, grant writing and implementation, outreach especially in Latinx communities and building a College Going Culture to reduce disparities in college completion and increase the academic success of underrepresented students in higher education. I enjoy working in education and look forward to learning from professionals in my field to help students make a positive change in their lives and build better communities. My experience includes working in higher education, student support services, career services, community college advising, career pathways, dual enrollment, guided pathways, transfer, articulation, education abroad, secondary education and peer reviewing for Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI) and TRIO Grants for the U.S Department of Education. I look forward to connecting with other professionals in education and helping nuestras comunidades.
