As a Data Scientist at Gulf Interstate Engineering, I combine data engineering, predictive modeling, and visualization to support business and operational decisions across complex engineering projects. My role bridges raw data and strategic insights, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and impact- Design and optimize ETL pipelines to migrate structured and unstructured data (employees, vendors, projects, WBS) into Dynamics 365- Develop predictive models (Random Forest, Logistic Regression, Ridge Regression) to solve business challenges in resource planning, customer experience, and financial forecasting- Build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and Excel, enabling leadership to make faster, data-driven decisions- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, finance, and operations to translate ambiguous business problems into actionable data solutions- Conduct preprocessing and integration of diverse data sources (spreadsheets, databases, and legacy systems) to ensure data quality and consistency.
