Hi, my name is Alejandro Leiva, and I’m currently pursuing a Master of Science in Project Management at Northeastern University in Toronto. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Lima and have experience in fintech, financial services, and market research consulting. Most recently, I worked as an Expansion and Product Analyst at Localpayment, a payment processor, where I analyzed payment methods, supported API integration projects, and negotiated provider terms that reduced costs and accelerated onboarding. Before that, as a Market Research Analyst at That’s Nice in New York, I delivered pricing models, M&A case studies, and strategic market reports that supported biotech and pharma clients in shaping their long-term strategies. I’m passionate about using data and process optimization to improve efficiency and business outcomes, and I bring strong skills in data analysis, visualization, and project management. Looking ahead, I’m excited to apply these strengths in a Business Analyst role within the financial sector, where I can contribute to better decision-making and measurable results.
