I currently lead strategic planning for waste and water in Amazon\'s Worldwide Sustainability team, where I work at the intersection of business, science, and tech.My career encompasses diverse experiences in highly entrepreneurial and greenfield environments. I founded my own venture, joined companies at pivotal phases, supported startup accelerator programs, and provided advisory services to startups. Even within my tenure at Amazon, I sought out roles that fostered innovation and growth, enabling me to spearhead business expansions, develop inventive products, and pioneer solutions in emerging areas.A cornerstone of my professional ethos is a human-centric and global perspective; I value diverse viewpoints. Raised in the multicultural environment of New York City as the daughter of Guyanese immigrants, I deeply appreciate cultural diversity and its enriching effects on any setting. Actively pursuing global experiences in both my professional and academic pursuits, I have led global teams, lived in seven countries across four continents (United States, Luxembourg, France, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Cambodia, Singapore), and explored over 55 countries.I hold Bachelor\'s degrees in Sociocultural Anthropology and Economics from the State University of NY, an international MBA from INSEAD, and an executive education certificate in Circular Economy and Sustainability from Cambridge.I spend my personal time in the arts sector or involved in the community. Currently, I serve as Chair of the waste advisory board for the Seattle city government, and am a Startup Mentor in the NextCycle Washington accelerator program.
