After graduating from Oxford I joined Inspiritus Health as the first employee. We are a medical device company which aims to reduce time patients spend on the Mechanical Ventilator by up to 30%.As Product Engineer I am responsible for leading the design of the SenSpirit, a non-invasive device that maintains diaphragm strength from day 1 on the mechanical ventilator. It also provides information about the state of a patients respiratory muscles to clinicians, enabling them to make better decisions for their patients and improving patient outcomes.
