    Sep 2024 — Present

Developing quantum low density parity check codes through the language of Z-X calculus. Specifically, using a layered 2D structure to simulate nonlocal qubit stabilizer checks in hypergraph product codes.Creating an open-source topological quantum computing emulator. Coding mainly in Python and Rust in order to build the engine behind the theoretical computations, logic gates, and potential error calculations. Directly collaborating with The University of Chicago.
