About Alec Jeffries
Jeffries serves as Vice President of Membership & Credentials at the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC). In this role, he advances global membership growth and oversees the institute’s internationally recognized credentialing programs.Previously, Jeffries was Director of Chapter Relations at the Fulbright Association, supporting a network of Fulbright scholars in partnership with the U.S. Department of State. Earlier in his career, he worked as a corporate analyst at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he conducted economic research and developed policy proposals to support corporate engagement and fundraising initiatives. In 2004, he received training from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) on international conflict resolution and served as an international election monitor in Ukraine.In addition to his association leadership work, Jeffries is founder and managing partner of Sashkin Private Equity Group, a closely held real estate and equity investment firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina.A native of Washington, D.C, Jeffries holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Colorado State University, attended The George Washington University School of Business MBA program focusing on financial accounting and management, and holds a master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University.
