Nine years of experience as an Electronics technician, four years as an SHF supervisor and operator and three years as a RADAR tech / lead. Worked on and maintained two AN-GSC/52A antenna, one AN-TSC/86F, and one MET for SATCOM. I assisted with the integration of the MET and mission movement within the fifth fleet AOR at NAVCOMTELSTA Bahrain. I supervised and trained over 40 people within SATCOM from technician level 1 through 3 all the way up to SATCOM Supervisor. Wrote and revised many SOP (Standard Operation Procedures) and helped with some level one networking. Have good knowledge on EBEM and ESEM MD/1366 as well as KIV-7M and CMA/MIDAS or “Multiplexer Integrated Defense communication satellite subsystem Allocation Subsystem) digital patching with encryption. Assisted many ships and fleet movement to achieve secure and reliable voice communications within the fifth fleet AOR using C5F. Have knowledge of the WSOC operating WSC satellites. I currently am the site lead, operating and maintaining a High Accuracy Instrumentation Radar utilizing Dr COSIP a Coherent Signal Processing system to produce signature data from the RADAR and legacy SEL computer. Knowledge on ECU (exciter control unit), PRF, RADAR subsystems, Doppler, and maintenance on all equipment. Support aeronautical, Missle launches, and other various vehicles utilizing C-band. Perform various tests weekly such as loop gain, droop, normal / plunge etc. Know how to properly set up and test mission plan building for all types of launches and vehicles, for skin, and beacon tracks. I have also become a Facility manager, Environmental health and safety contact, property custodian and security custodian. Managing the facility by assessing damage, corrosion, any failures in structural integrity and reporting it to CE via NEXGEN through work orders and requesting the correct fix action. Preparing for storm and weather by organizing emergency action and having prevention actions in place. EHS working with them throughout the year to ensure safe environmental health and safety for our site personnel, the land around the site, as well as keeping things properly stored or kept for disposal, utilizing an HSDS or MSD. Managing items for property, within the site logistics room and properly listing where they reside through MAXIMO program as well as organizational skills within the system to match the physical location. Security, utilizing the movement of classified items through SIMS, organizing and using SF form 701, 702 etc. and making sure site personnel comply with COMSEC and other Cyber security.
