About Alexander Barancyk
I am a senior at the Kelley School of Business majoring in Finance and Business Analytics. In the summer of 2022 I spent my time at an internship with Underwriter\'s Laboratories in which I provided modeling skills to streamline the tracking of sales progression. During the spring semester of the 20••••23 school year I was fortunate enough to be able to study abroad in Milan, Italy where I learned the importance and benefits of immersing yourself into another culture abroad. This past summer I was a tangible asset valuation intern at KPMG LLP. in Chicago, IL. While at KPMG I learned a great deal about the processes that must be completed when providing valuation services for post-close M&A deals as well as the complexities involving impairment tests for the valuation of tangible assets.
