This role allows me to support strategic HR initiatives and drive efforts toward diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) while fostering a vibrant workplace culture- Over the past few years, I led and continuously improved our internship program, which has received multiple awards for excellence and resulted in a 45% full-time conversation rate- I initiated and now oversee all Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and lead the DEI committee, contributing to Merchants receiving recognition for fostering an inclusive workplace- I played a key role in analyzing culture surveys and worked closely with the executive committee to drive best practices that helped us achieve the \"Best Places to Work\" awards.In my new role, I will- Advance the strategic direction of our HR department- Focus on initiatives that support the associate experience and company culture- Lead the DEI committee and oversee all groups- Enhance the onboarding experience and develop training plans- Work on various HR projects aimed at associate engagement. I believe in taking a proactive approach to HR problems and seek innovative solutions to challenges. I also value professional development and am actively working toward my HR Professional Certification (SHRM-CP)
