ABOUT ALAN COPELAND
Before we get too serious a bit about me:• Soccer dad (my car is a changing room and team bus)• Liverpool and 49ers fan (I\'m a glutton for punishment)• Love a good movie, a good cup of coffee, a good meal, and a good IPA (not in that order)• Husband (I\'m still not sure how I pulled that one off)• Dad to 2 kids and 1 dog (I\'m outnumbered, but I wouldn\'t have it any other way)With 25+ years in the HCM software industry, specialising in HR, Payroll, WFM, Recruitment, and Talent across the UK and Ireland, I\'ve dedicated my career to this field. From software development to support, implementation, and solutions consultancy, my journey has been a multifaceted one, honing my expertise. With The Access Group I work with organisations spanning various sectors such as Retail, Public Sector, Higher Education, Manufacturing, Transport, Finance, Legal, Services, and Hospitality. My mission is to pinpoint their challenges and demonstrate how our solution can ease their pain points. The most common challenges I encounter are:1. Multiple Outdated Systems: Many clients are stuck with once-shiny but now aged systems that no longer communicate effectively, resulting in inefficiencies.2. Broken Manual Processes: The outdated, non-integrated solutions lead to time-consuming manual tasks.3. Lack of Employee Engagement: The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed how organisations and employees interact, prompting a need for better engagement strategies.4. Inability to Utilise HR Data: Many HR professionals struggle to harness the data within their systems for insights into trends, patterns, demographics, and more.My approach involves:• Unified Solutions: Demonstrating how a unified solution reduces data rekeying, eliminates the need for obsolete interfaces, and provides the latest software version through our SAAS model.• Efficiency Through Unification: Highlighting how a unified solution streamlines processes, allowing employees and managers to handle tasks through self-service features, reducing manual intervention.• Enhanced User Experience: Showcasing how our solution provides a consumer-grade experience, enabling employees and managers to complete tasks via our user-friendly app and ESS/MSS.• Data Insights: Demonstrating the capabilities of our built-in analytics tool, empowering organisations to mine valuable information within the system and present insights on intuitive dashboards.Ultimately, I empower HR and Payroll professionals to focus on an organisation\'s strategic goals, which leads to a significant and proven return on investment (ROI).
