This LinkedIn Profile exists because of Albrecht’s role as “Head of ESG” for Ace Alternatives (ACE). ACE provides back-office services for Alternative Investment Vehicles (Venture Capital, Private Equity etc.), including but not limited to accounting, reporting, compliance, ESG etc. Purpose and Mission of Ace Alternatives is to enable Partners and Managers of such Investment Vehicles to focus on their core business and to enjoy the experience that “Admin” has not just ceased to be tedious but turns out to be an intriguingly attractive source of value creation. As Head of ESG with Ace Alternatives, Albrecht does two things. First, he oversees the implementation of ESG reporting protocols. And second, he provides high level council on how all core activities (asset selection, asset management, fund raising) can benefit and create additional value if the entire team becomes more aware and develops a deeper understanding of how the issue of sustainability as a mega-force drives society, politics, commerce, and – most importantly – their own lives. In his other day-job, Albrecht is a healing practitioner for psychotherapy. He lives in the forest and collaborates with his environment to furnish his clients with a relatively stress-free frame for - going through personal crises- recovering from depressions and burn-outs, or - introducing a stable and enjoyable meditation and awareness practice into their lives. He sees and treats his clients as self-responsible and himself mainly as a temporary travel companion.
