A member of the ‘Business Facing Team’ within the global Ethics & Compliance (E&C) function, accountable for guiding and supporting a portfolio of bp businesses in managing their compliance programmes and risks. Acting as a key partner to the assigned businesses (Production & Operations, Legal and Aviation), offering risk-based and practical advice, coaching and supporting the in-country compliance resources and business leadership teams. Prepared and delivered presentations at EVP and SVP level (e.g. E&C Committee meetings), leading discussions on E&C risks and relevant risk mitigation plans. Developed and implemented assurance initiatives, including E&C reviews, self-verification, assessment of High-Risk Agents and a review of E&C risks in the global RMRs. Provided E&C assurance over 20+ Non-Operated JVs. Working with the bp Central Data Privacy (DP) Office on a global DP improvement programme and leading a workstream to design and implement a DP dashboard including metrics and KPIs. Participating to the E&C concerns management process and internal investigations by triaging issues, discussing outcome of investigations, identifying root causes and proposing disciplinary actions. Provided Anti-Bribery training to ~500 employees in 2022.
