I am a highly experienced professional engineer holding a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, specializing in the oil and gas industry with nearly 15 years of expertise. My extensive background includes a focus on deepwater riser systems, such as SCR, TTR, Lazy Wave, and Hybrid Rises, for various floating production units (TWLP, SPAR, FPSO, and Semi-Sub) and MODUs. My skill set encompasses a wide range of critical tasks, including drilling and production riser analysis, installation analysis, wave fatigue analysis, weak point identification, VIV analysis, and interference assessment, among others. I am well-versed in fatigue, fracture analysis, and proficient in monitoring fatigue data pre and post-processing.My proficiency extends to Condition Based Maintenance in Drilling Riser Systems, where I conduct general and localized corrosion assessments following API 579 standards, as well as crack propagation assessments adhering to BS 7910 guidelines. I also excel in performing global analysis using commercial software.Currently positioned in research and development at Baker Hughes, I specialize in flexible pipe reliability, leveraging Monte Carlo simulations, and FORM for SN Fatigue analyses on flexible risers, alongside offering robust support for on-shore flexible pipe applications via regression analysis on burst capacity and pressure cycle tests.Beyond my core expertise, I possess a deep knowledge of pipeline design, risk management, and risk-based inspection, with a strong background in Integrity Structural Systems.
