ABOUT ALBERTO ZIGANTE
I have always been attracted by engineering for its ability to shape our world and bring people closer. In particular, I am fascinated by aerodynamics and engine design for their various applications not only limited to the aeronautical domain.Nowadays, with the current crises related to climate change, it is important more than ever to be open-minded, innovate and find new solutions to reduce CO2 emissions. Immediately I realized how aerodynamics is very transverse, playing a crucial role in the next generation of aircraft, electric mobility and energy production.For these reasons, during my studies, I have always tried to join technical teams to challenge myself in a competitive and multicultural environment. At Politecnico di Milano, I joined the Dynamis PRC team (Formula SAE Championship) in the design of the first electric car. At ISAE Supaero, I took part in the team Hyperloop Supaero in the aerostructure department.I think these are the best ways to combine sport, engineering and creativity, a marvellous way to apply the studies done at university.I cannot imagine a more exciting moment to become an engineer!
