ABOUT ALBERTO SENSINI
I am a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (Faculty of Science and Engineering) of the University of Groningen. I am also a Postdoctoral Fellow at the MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine of Maastricht University. My research field is related to biofabrication, soft-actuators, biomimetics, biomechanics, tissue engineering and advanced electrospun nanofibrous materials. In particular I apply the electrospinning technology to produce hierarchically structured scaffolds and soft-actuators for the replacement, the regeneration and the simulation of the musculoskeletal tissues.
