ABOUT ALBERTO RIVAS
Alberto is a Principal Aviation Planner with a strong background in airfield planning projects. In his role at Jacobs, he served as airfield Subject Matter Expert for the KSIA-Riyadh, Saudi. Previously at Arup, his work involved delivering airfield simulation and stand plans for airports across continents, including significant projects at Heathrow, Sabiha Gökçen, and Dublin. He is skilled in leveraging specialist tools like CAST and other programming for data post-processing with R and PBI.With over a decade of experience in the transport sector, he has analysed the integration of digital solutions to enhance efficiency and foster sustainability within the industry. This includes the design and delivery of airfield and runway extensions, large-scale analysis of the impact of low emission technologies in aviation, and changes in operational planning.Alberto is an experienced consultant with particular focus on aviation operations simulation, forecasting airfield service performance and layout planning.
