As a C-Level overseeing the day-to-day operations for the Latin American Market (seven Business Unit (BU) distribution centers), I ensure smooth operations, strategic growth, and high performance. My primary responsibility is to make sure each BU meets and exceeds its performance targets, focusing on key metrics such as on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. I regularly monitor KPIs like order accuracy, shipment timeliness, and inventory turnover to maintain operational excellence.A significant part of my role involves developing and implementing strategies to optimize distribution processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels. This includes streamlining logistics, introducing new technologies, and making operational changes to drive greater efficiency and overall performance.I also lead and mentor a diverse team across all seven distribution centers. I work closely with the management teams at each BU, helping them grow as leaders while fostering collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement. Financial oversight is another key part of my role—managing budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring profitability for each distribution center. I set financial targets, monitor progress, and work to improve margins while maintaining cost discipline.I serve as the main point of contact between corporate leadership, local management, suppliers, and customers, ensuring open lines of communication and strong relationships. Aligning operational goals with the broader business strategy is critical, and I work closely with all stakeholders to achieve this.Finally, I ensure full compliance with all local regulations, including safety, environmental, and labor laws. I actively manage risks related to supply chain disruptions and regulatory changes, ensuring that all distribution centers operate efficiently and within legal frameworks.
