My academic and professional education have been focused on the synthesis and characterization of catalysts with particular attention on the development of heterogeneous metal-based catalysts.My principal professional skills can be summarized as- Use and complete knowledge of traditional synthesis techniques beside with the use and the study of innovative techniques for the synthesis of nanostructured materials, such as flame spray pyrolysis (FSP), ultrasound (US) chemical vapor deposition (CVD)- Use and complete knowledge of several characterization techniques such as TEM and SEM-EDX (Transmission/scanning electron microscopy), XRD (X-ray diffraction), Elementary bulk analyses (IC, CHN), XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy), BET and TPR/D/O (temperature programmed reduction/desorption/oxydation)- Use and complete knowledge of analytical techniques as GC, HPLC, UV-VIS, IR- Design and set up of bench scale chemical plants under high pressure or vacuum.My personal profile can be completed with excellent communication skills, great attitute to teamwork and a positive mood in solving problems.
