ABOUT ALBERT KAMANZI
As the Analytics Lead at ScopeSys Inc, I work with a team of biophysicists and software engineers who develop and deliver innovative analytics and imaging solutions for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. With over 7 years of experience in experimental physics, fluorescence microscopy, laser optics, and nanofabrication, I have a strong background and passion for advancing the science and technology of nanomedicines. In addition to my current role, I am also a Mitacs PDF at the University of British Columbia. Here, I conduct research on single molecule imaging of lipid nanoparticles and nucleic acid molecules. My PhD thesis focused on this topic and resulted in multiple publications and patents. I enjoy collaborating with other researchers and industry partners to explore the applications and implications of lipid nanoparticles for drug delivery and gene therapy.
