About Albert Sawano

Based on more than three decades of lessons learned working on large, complex projects, Synchronis founder and Principal Architect Albert Sawano believes that providing a design approach and team structure that is integrated and holistic avoids many of the pitfalls stemming from the siloed expertise that exists in corporate firms doing this same category of work. Teams are led, through all phases, by a single architecture team leader, and the design workflow is integrated from Concept Design through Construction Administration, using Revit with real-time VR for design conceptualization, presentation, and construction documentation. The result is concise, cost-effective work of superior quality.Albert is principal signatory architect on more than $2 billion of in-progress and recently completed projects including approximately 2200 residential apartment units. At prior firms, HED, Gensler, and Johnson Fain, he has held a principal architect or team leadership role on such landmark Los Angeles projects as USC Village, Avenue of the Stars, Constellation Place, and Century Plaza Towers.
