Being a court reporter combines journalistic skills, legal knowledge, and dedication to delivering accurate and compelling news coverage from the heart of the judicial system. It\'s a challenging but rewarding role that contributes to the accountability and transparency of the justice system. It requires me to research, attend court sessions, document the proceedings, etc. Thanks to my prior experience at the courthouses in Downtown Miami, Florida, I\'ve grown accustomed to developing relationships with lawyers, judges and clerks to facilitate the process, as well as adapt when things go awry at the last minute.

ABOUT ALBA ROSA
Originating in the country of Puerto Rico, I graduated high school and subsequently moved to the United States to satisfy my itch to know about the world. In pursuit of this dream, I transferred from the Art Institutes of Miami to Florida International University to obtain my degree in journalism. I\'ve worked in FIU\'s student-run newspaper PantherNOW since I enrolled and worked my way up to the Opinion section\'s director, which has taught me much about the administrative aspect of journalism: editing, publishing, SEO and design. I also work as a court reporter under Har-Mel Reporters. Other than working, I love all arts, from painting and drawing to music producing and singing.
