Interested in structural, material and railroad engineering. Working on projects related to the behavior of precast/prestressed concrete in aggressive environments. Evaluating the behavior of concrete crossties subjected to different types of loading and determining the main aspects contributed to their failure. Specialties: my research is in the area of railroad engineering including; strength, durability, abrasion mitigation and resistance, fatigue, seismic behavior, composite reinforcement, and CFRP. Also computer applications like; Abaqus, Autocad, Etabs and others.
