I am a senior Oil & Gas / Energy leader with over 15 years of distinguished experience driving results across Africa. My expertise uniquely blends robust legal acumen, strategic business development, and high-stakes commercial negotiations, underpinned by a proven track record of successfully leading and closing significant business development initiatives, particularly in Angola. Prior to being appointed Head of Global Natural Resources Business Support & Services Management, I have served as the Head of East Africa Upstream & Exploration Commercial Negotiations for Eni SpA (from August 2022 to May 2025), where I oversaw and led strategic negotiation efforts critical to achieving Eni business objectives in the region. This role was significantly informed by my prior experience as Legal Manager for Eni in Angola (from May 2018 to July 2022), a leadership role instrumental for cultivating in me a deep first-hand knowledge of internal decision-making dynamics, problem solving and effective stakeholder engagement. Earlier in my career, from 2008 to 2014, I built a strong foundational understanding of the industry\'s legal landscape as an in-house counsel for an Exxon Mobil affiliate in Angola. Academically, I hold an LL.B. from Universidade Lusiada de Lisboa (2007) and an LL.M. from American University Washington College of Law (2013), the latter earned as a Fulbright Scholar.
