Accomplished leader and senior advisor with a track record of value creation, risk management and deal execution. Expertise spans public and capital markets, managing mining companies and metals banking teams in Toronto, New York, Sydney and Hong Kong focusing on raising capital, metals banking and trading (physical and derivatives), royalty transactions, expert witness work, and gold refining. Combines financial acumen with mine and exploration geology to bring mines and processing facilities into production and optimize end-to-end value chains including negotiating offtake and metal loan agreements in multi-currency, multi-product environments. Known for negotiating and managing multi-billion-dollar M&A transactions and for structuring hundreds of deals for cross-cultural precious and base metal producers, central banks, manufacturers and refineries worldwide.
