About Alasia P.
When it comes to my experience, I have gained valuable skills through my education in cybersecurity and my previous work as a waitress. While the two industries may seem vastly different, I was able to develop skills such as customer service, multitasking, and problem-solving that are transferable to any industry. Additionally, my experience as the Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) Chapter President, Vice President & Technology Officer, as well as my involvement in the National Society of Leadership & Success, have allowed me to develop leadership skills and foster a strong network in the industry. As for achievements, I am proud to have received the Women in Cybersecurity Scholarship x3 and the Maryland Cybersecurity Public Service Scholarship, which have motivated me to continue pursuing excellence in this field.
