Senior journalist with nearly a decade of reporting experience, I am currently on secondment from my role as Political Editor.As Live News Editor of The Courier and Dundee Evening Telegraph, DC Thomson’s daily news titles covering Tayside, Stirling, Fife and Dundee. Leading a large team of reporters, I run our busy news desk and coordinate coverage of general news across the communities we serve, including our response to major events and breaking news. I am responsible for editing all copy, using audience data to measure and inform how we tell stories with impact. I also ensure reporting at all stages is compliant with our legal and regulatory obligations by providing advice and support to journalists, and seeking senior editorial input and instructing legal advice when appropriate.
