ABOUT GABY ALARCÓN

As Senior Director, Educational Content at the Neuroscience Education Institute (NEI), I focus on advancing evidence-based psychiatric education and developing meaningful learning experiences that improve patient outcomes.With a background in Behavioral Neuroscience, I bring expertise in content strategy, educational design, and neuroscience communication to bridge the gap between research and clinical practice. I am well-versed in ACCME standards and incorporate them into content strategy and design to support educational integrity, balance, and independence.I manage and mentor a team of medical writers—continuing the collaborative and creative work that first drew me to this field—and oversee content for the NEI Podcast, the Master Psychopharmacology Program, and Patient Education initiatives, helping clinicians stay curious, informed, and inspired in their practice.As a leader, I strive to foster growth, trust, and curiosity—values that guide both my team and NEI’s educational mission. I believe in the power of accessible, evidence-based learning to make a lasting difference in mental health care.
