Lead and sole User Researcher supporting Farnell and its wider brand portfolio (including Avnet, element14 and CPC), responsible for setting research direction, delivery and standards across the organisation- Own and deliver the user research function end to end, defining strategy, priorities and ways of working while planning and executing strategic and tactical research across the product lifecycle- Act as a trusted research partner to product, design, engineering and leadership teams, ensuring user insight informs decision-making at all levels- Synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative data into clear narratives and recommendations that drive alignment and action- Establish and maintain core research assets (personas, journeys, insight repositories) to create shared understanding across teams- Enable and support teams to work more user-centrically through mentoring, coaching and guidance on research methods and insight usage- Balance research demand across multiple stakeholders through capacity planning and prioritisation, ensuring focus on highest-impact work- Define and track research and UX success metrics, helping demonstrate value and influence over time- Continuously improve research operations, tools and processes to scale insight across a complex, multi-brand organisation.
