About Alan Young
I am an professionally licensed engineer with over 12 years of experience on linear development projects in the Energy industry as well as experience with nearshore and onshore routing experience for various offshore wind and power projects. My experience includes nearshore/onshore routing, right-of-way and permitting support, stakeholder outreach, scheduling, and cost estimation for offshore wind development projects on the U.S. East Coast. I have also supported large scale Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) project work involving project development, routing, material calculations, class location and HCA assessment, contractor bid packages, and cost estimates.I am proficient in Microsoft Project and have performed scheduling for a 5 million dollar project.I am also proficient in several types of 3D modelling software and Excel. I greatly enjoy working in the energy industry and tackling its many challenges.
