Responsible for creating and maintaining production schedule for both traffic and gas price divisions• Process & evaluate incoming orders from sales team to identify potential problems in on time delivery• Set lead times for production once all parts for an order have been identified and investigated• Work with sales and service teams to communicate completion/delivery dates for customers• Preparation and delivery of company wide meeting twice per week to update employees on status of orders and potential delays for customers• Produce daily status reports for customer service orders for service team to relay to customers• Responsible for training new employees in the planning department, including how to use M2M and other programs necessary for job function• Work closely with engineering department to implement design change notices, ensuring corrections are made in the system, and ensuring correct parts are delivered to production team• Member of ISO internal audit team, ensuring different departments of the company are complying with ISO standards to keep certifications with State Department of Transportation• Identify and problem solve complex issues that may arise during the production process, including daily communication with engineering, accounting, procurement and sales to ensure minimal delays in customer delivery
