As a member of the Structure Elucidation team in the Analytics North America (ANA) department of BASF, I work on a team of scientist who support the formulation, production, and quality control of BASF products produced in North America. These products range from chemicals, plastics, automotive or athletic performance products, and crop protection products with samples arriving from both internal and external customers looking for technical support. Aside from my work on these team led efforts, I am also the company global lead for the Mass Spectrometry Imaging (MSI) division of the analytical group where we are implementing the visualization power of MSI to support the development of future BASF products as well as improve upon those currently in production.
