ABOUT ALANNA LAFON

Innovative, client-focused data professional with 15+ years of expertise in data integration, implementing process and quality improvements, and establishing protocols to create data, production, and reporting efficiencies. International support team leader sought out to resolve escalated customer issues at the highest level and develop sophisticated solutions to customers’ most complex data processing problems. Special areas of focus include solutions design and deployment, risk management information systems, data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load), and client relationship management. Exceptionally skilled in interpersonal communication, collaboration with management and teams, and client consultation. Currently, I am Senior Data Support Manager of Data Service for Riskonnect, a global technology provider. Over a six-year tenure, I have received five promotions, advancing from my initial role as Data Engineer. Demonstrating my ability to critically determine the right tools/technology to solve critical data processing problems, I was recognized in July 2016 for delivery of an automated data notification solution that resolved a Fortune 500 client’s long-standing problem. This solution is now being adapted for use with additional clients. Earlier in my career I served in Texas-based roles as Solutions Architect and Conversion Analyst for CS STARS (now March Clearsight LLC), Conversion Programmer for Tyler Technologies, and Program Analyst/Applications Coordinator, Surgical Service, for Amarillo VA Health Care System. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and possess broad technical knowledge spanning SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, SQL Server, Visual Basic, Oracle, Data Integrator, and Microsoft Applications (including Access), as well as experience with the Salesforce platform.
