Questions, information from CGP textbooks are shared and studied at the pace chosen by the student.Full belief in \"teach to understand, not to pass an exam\" and prefer to spend longer on topics to make sure that the student doesn\'t just know the exact words to write to pass, but also understands what they are writing.Prices range from £25-£30 an hour dependent on the level of teaching required.Highly recommended by previous students/parents.

ABOUT ALANNA DOWNING
I am a passionate Inclusion activist, with a specialism within Disability, Neurodiversity and Carers. Previously, I led an Employee Resource Group \"N-Able-D\" for AWE for two years where I launched the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower and managed the running of multiple awareness events across site. More recently, in March 2024, alongside Terri Hargreaves of Sellafield I co-founded the Nuclear Industry wide network for Disabled and/or Neurodivergent staff and Carers \"Enable Nuclear\". Following the success and growth of this group within it\'s first year, we are now seeking applicants for a committee to help and support further growth in the future. In 2024, I was elected the Inclusion Lead for the Nuclear Institute Young Generation Network (NI YGN) for 2025 and have started the year off by launching an Inclusion sub-committee, restarting a group meeting with the Nuclear-sector Inclusion groups and spoken at multiple events about the benefits of the YGN and being inclusive in STEM.I am an award winning Public Speaker (NI YGN Regional Winner 2020, 2023) on the topic of EDI within STEM, with a specialism in Disability and Neurodiversity. I have spoken at multiple conferences and events (NuFor 2023, NI YGN EDI Event 2024 and more!) and look forward to my upcoming speaking events! If you\'d like me to come and speak at your company, please feel free to get in contact!Additionally, outside of work I am a Community Manager within the Tetris e-sports space who has worked on ensuring virtual and in-person tournaments are as accessible as possible. Currently, I am working on a Wellbeing and Safeguarding guide that can be used by volunteers within the community.Although I am currently looking to make Inclusion my full time career, I am also a Senior Quality Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 with previous experience in owning a process and auditing ISO 17025:2014. I am also a maths and science tutor for ages 14-18!
