Fischer Imaging is a development stage company focused on improving breast cancer imaging and diagnosis. Products in development include:* MammoSound: Fusion mammography/ultrasound imaging for improved and efficient breast cancer screening and diagnosis.* MammoScan: Slot scanning 2D mammography and 3D tomosynthesis that doubles the image resolution and increases image contrast for improved image quality using less than half the radiation dose of full-field systems without requiring painful breast compression. The company funded initial product development through non-dilutive NIH grants and is currently in the process of raising additional capital for testing and commercialization.
