Responsible for leading and driving the sales and business growth strategies for a group of stores along with providing direction for all operational aspects of each store and driving sales while minimising costs. · Accountable for the P&L of each store, preparation of the forecasts and budgets and close monitoring the implementation of the plans to achieve the business and financial objectives. · Focus on driving profitability through cost controls while delivering high standards of quality to the customers. · Leading and managing the HR related processes including recruitment, addressing employee grievances, taking disciplinary action as required and handling all other personnel processes for stores within the assigned area. · Playing a pivotal role in making sound and well-informed commercial decisions while assessing and recognising any associated potential risks. · Active involvement in ensuring compliance with the health and safety standards, adherence to the legal procedures and management of risk assessments for all the stores. · Ensuring that store managers and their staff maintain the stores to the highest possible standards, keep them well organised and properly merchandised at all times; and that all policies, procedures, and controls get followed. · Focusing on developing technical and functional capabilities of the team members of the stores and extending coaching and guidance support to cases where the skill gaps are marginally high. · Consistently seeking and analysing the customer feedback and generating the appropriate response to identifying the strengths as well as focus areas for each store.
