Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all store operations and fill in as needed when the Store Manager is unavailable by performing the following duties: Communication* Demonstrate ABC’s Service Standards with our guests and team members every day.* Greet and provide excellent service to all guests and be point of contact for any guest service disputes or comments when store manager is unavailable.Operations* Maintain Responsible Vendor status for self and team during operation of POS, wine taps, growler station, and tasting events.* Responsible for following and enforcing all operational compliance policy to ensure safety among team members and guests.* Perform typical management tasks including but not limited to; opening/closing the store, and cash control/reconciliation.* Perform all typical supervisory responsibilities including but not limited to; delegating tasks and assignments. Assist with the hiring and training of new and existing staff, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations.* Assist in the achievement of store sales and budget goals.* Unload and put away weekly truck deliveries. Merchandise and display product on shelves and beer coolers in accordance with Operational Guidelines and maintain perfect pricing.* Assist in management of store inventory; ensuring satisfactory product levels and accurate receiving of goods; perform daily cycle counts and reconciliation of weekly summaries.* Maintain good relationships with product vendors and representatives, assisting representatives where necessary.Administrative Functions and Activities* Payroll approval and/or write weekly staff schedule as needed.* Read reports relating to store performance; average transaction, and Sourced & Certified sales %.* Assist in the training of store team members in all tech platforms used by ABC (Kronos, Cornerstone, etc.), and for all store operations technology (POS, Handheld, etc.).
