My role demands a deep understanding of HMRC legislation, qualifying criteria, and financial reporting to ensure every claim is both maximised and compliant.I work directly with senior technical and financial stakeholders—CEOs, CTOs, engineers, scientists and accountants—to extract the core narrative behind each project. This includes- Conducting in-depth technical interviews and research- Drafting robust, audit-ready technical reports- Analysing financial data and preparing summary calculations- Navigating compliance frameworks and defending claims where neededStrong communication and attention to detail are critical. I regularly liaise with HMRC inspectors, handle enquiries, and ensure submissions withstand scrutiny.Alongside client delivery, I’ve led on business development and strategy—growing the client base, increasing revenue year-on-year, and maintaining long-term relationships through trust, clarity and results.
