In 2009, I opened a new shop: Stone Details. Leveraging the hundreds of projects completed, contractors and designers I’ve worked with, we focus on delivering field measurement and drafting services for the documentation and fabrication of custom architectural stone for new and landmark restoration projects. Services include field surveys, 3D laser scanning, shop drawings, shop tickets, 3D modeling, setting drawings, anchor detailing and the coordination of shop drawings between multiple trades to assure accuracy of overall fit.    After over 25 years as a manufacturer of custom architectural stone, precast, cast stone & GFRC, I opened Stone Details, specializing in field measurement and drafting services for the documentation and fabrication of custom architectural stone for new construction and building façade restoration.Our extensive expertise ranges from dimensional building surveys using electronic laser systems, 3D scanning & data capture and traditional measurement tools to drafting detailed shop drawings, tickets and stone anchoring systems. We take the architect’s design and create sensible, buildable shop drawings favoring our client’s preferences for fabrication and installation details as well as shop drawing and ticketing layout. Additional services include preparation of coordination drawings linking together shop drawings between multiple trades assuring accuracy of fit over an entire job.At Stone Details, we’re comfortable in a range of settings from client meetings to scaffolds.
