I am a mission-driven leader working at the intersection of higher education, public health, and workforce development to create systems where equity isn’t aspirational—it’s operational. With over a decade of experience designing and leading culturally responsive programs, I bring a unique ability to bridge policy, practice, and people.At the Houston Health Department, I help drive strategic workforce initiatives aimed at advancing health equity. By developing and implementing training materials that center cultural competence and compliance, we equip public health professionals to better serve diverse communities. Our team’s collaborative efforts have resulted in innovative strategies to improve retention, establish data-informed benchmarks, and align operations with equity goals.Simultaneously, as an Adjunct Professor at Wharton County Junior College, I support adult learners through continuing education in business and office administration.
