I advocate for trauma-informed leadership and school safety — grounded in integrity, vulnerability, and steady, prevention-focused practices. I’ve always been passionate about learning, storytelling, and creativity. That passion is what led me to create the EmpoweredK12 Podcast: a space designed to amplify positive role models, share stories, and empower the leaders shaping our schools.I also serve as Chief Engagement Officer at the American Coalition for Educational Environments (ACEE), a growing think tank focused on the intersection of school facilities, safety, and sustainability. In this role, I work closely with K-12 leaders, partners, and stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure engagement is at the center of how we grow and serve.I believe safe schools aren’t built on fear — they’re built on thoughtful design, psychological safety, and cultures where students and staff feel supported.
