ABOUT ALANA LIDAWER
Since 2016, I have been working on software to improve robotic operations on Mars. That experience lead me to start operating the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover itself, starting in 2020. I now operate Perseverance\'s engineering cameras as well as its drill and sample caching system. I am used to working in the fast paced environment of tactical interplanetary operations. When I\'m not on a tactical shift, I am writing software to make those operations easier and less prone to error.
