ABOUT ALAN T. MAK

Alan is a partner and the National Practice Leader of the Forensic Accounting team at BDO Canada LLP. He has practiced exclusively in litigation and forensic accounting since and has been retained in matters ranging from estates disputes to complex international commercial litigation and class action proceedings. Alan has provided expert witness evidence in proceedings before the Federal Court of Canada, Tax Court of Canada, Superior Court of Ontario, Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench, as well as for quasi-judicial adjudicative boards and in private arbitrations. Alan holds professional designations in accountancy, financial investigations and business valuations from Canada, the USA and Hong Kong, including: FCPA, FCA, FCPA (Hong Kong), CBV, CGMA, CFF and CFE.
